Uptown Beit Midrash

Shir Chadash brings adult learning Uptown! Join Rabbi Ethan Linden and  Deborah Mintz for monthly sessions of text study in the style of the traditional beit midrash, or house of study. We will employ both group and chevruta (partner) learning, diving into our sacred texts such as Tanach, Midrash, and Talmud, as well as contemporary texts.  All levels of learning welcome.

Mindfulness Meditation

This is a group for anyone interested in learning and practicing
meditation in a supportive, Jewish community. Whether you have never meditated before or already have a daily practice of your own, we hope you will join us! We will practice focused and mindfulness meditation, and discuss Eastern philosophy as it can relate to our Jewish context.
