Meet our Director of Education–Liba Kornfeld

Liba Kornfeld  holds a BA in Talmud and Rabbinics from The Jewish Theological Seminary and a Masters Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Bank Street College for Education.  Liba’s educational background reflects her belief in innovative educational models and a serious understanding of Jewish text.  She has taught Religious School and led tot Shabbat at synagogues in New York City and Boston and has taught at some of the nation’s cutting edge Jewish day schools.  Liba believes that Jewish continuity is based on the positivity of our earliest interactions with religious texts and study.  Liba and Rabbi Linden have two young sons.  Liba loves to spread the love of Shabbat to the Shir Chadash community through hosting Shabbat meals, and cooking for crowds.
